In order to travel to Russian Federation, people of many nationalities are required to obtain a visa.
No. Visas/e-Visas are issued to permit to departure for the country. Whether you may enter to the country is judged by the immigration officer.
In order to travel to Russian Federation, people of many nationalities are required to obtain a visa.
There are several types of visa. Among them, electronic visas that can be applied for over the internet are referred to as ''e-Visas''.

e-Visa is valid for 30 days from the date of grant. Visitors are able to stay up to 8 days, and no extension accepted.
An e-Visa is valid for a single entry only.

*Length of stay is counted by a date, not time. (i.g. If entry is on August 1st 12:00, you are to leave Russia by August 8th 23:59. NOT August 9th 11:59.)
Application procedure is as follows.

1. Apply for the Service
Fill in and submit the e-Visa Application Form after confirming application requirements and selecting application type.
The Terms of Service are included on the e-Visa Application Form.
Please be sure to read the Terms in full and agree before applying. If you do not agree with the Terms, we cannot accept your application.

2. Pay the service fee
Pay the service fee in the manner designated by the Company.
Once the payment completes and provision of the service begins, you will be notified by an acceptance completion email with 'Russian Federation e-Visa application procedure' in the subject line. Additionally, a 'Payment complete (service provision started)' notification will appear on the Website.

* Caution *
If an error occurs and you are unsure whether or not the payment went through, please check whether the acceptance completion email has arrived without reattempting payment or application.
If you checked and did not receive an acceptance completion email, please contact customer support.

3. Log in to the user page
Log in to the user page using the login ID and password provided in the reception completion email.
Your account will be created and granted automatically.

4. Complete the application
Register required documents and complete the application.
You may see the list of required documents on your user page.*1
Our system runs as soon as the clients complete the procedure and submit the details.

5. Receive the inspection results
The Company will notify the applicant of the inspection results by email as soon as the Company receives the inspection results from the government of Russian Federation.
The subject of the email will be 'e-Visa inspection results.'
Please be alert for notifications from the Company until the e-Visa inspection results are finalized.

*1 Clients may asked to submit additional documents during the inspection.
Required documents for an e-Visa application are as follows.

- Passport*1
- Email Address
- Credit card or Paypal account
- Image data of ID photo*2

*1The passport must leave at least two blank pages facing for stamps. The validity of the passport must be of at least 6 months from the date of application.
*2 Please refer requirements and submit as specified.
Requirements of photos are as follows;

- Must be taken within 6 months
- JPEG format
- 2MB at max
- 3.5cm * 4.5cm (1 3/8” X 1 3/4”)
- 450px * 600px
- In colored
- No shadows, lines, or refrect
- No hats, and glasses unless you must wear them for religious reasons
- The face must be square to the camera (The nose must position on the direction line)
- With neutral face expression (Eyes opened, lips closed)
- Eyes must not be covered by hair
- Head to chest shown clearly
- No filters
e-Visa must be applied 6 - 20 days before counting form the date of entry.
Please make sure to apply as soon as possible as the notification of the result may not complete before the travel for last-minute applications.
The e-Visa inspection will be conducted by the government of Russian Federation Federation.
The inspection time is 5 days at maximum. *1

*1 It could take longer than promised in case of technical errors, Russian Federation holidays, and Seasonal issues.

Yes, you need at least 2 blank pages on your passport.
Yes, you can.

However, an separate application has to be submitted for each individuals.
You cannot apply for multiple travelers with single application.

Use ''Group Application'' and ''Family Application'' functions from User Page.
Using these functions, an representative can manage application information of fellow traveles under a single account.
Available payment methods are as follows.

If you do not have a credit card, please use a Paypal account.

Payment Related

Yes, you can.

The credit card does not have to be applicant's as long as the applicant has a consent of the card holder.
If there is an error in the application information submitted by the Applicant and the application procedure has not yet been completed by performing the final confirmation on the user page, it is possible to correct that error, excluding e-Visa type and purpose of the trip.
However, this may not be possible in the following cases.

(1) The Applicant fails to meet the application requirements.
(2) The Applicant is unable to follow the usage rules.

After Application

Once we receive the email, we will check the status of the application. If we have not already submitted the application to the government of the Country, we will charge 50% of the service fee as a cancellation fee, cancel the Service and refund the remainder of the service fee. We cannot cancel the Service or refund the service fee if we have already submitted the application to the government of the Country.

Revising information led to an application to get refused, you can re-apply for an e-Visa.
If your re-application didn't go through an inspection, you may be able to apply for regular visa at nearest Russian Federationn embassy or consulate.
